    ok ive never owned a blackberry before, but im about to get the blackberry curve soon until the Tour comes out, and ive been browsing reading up on blackberry..i have a question,whats the difference between trackball and trackpad?

    Welcome! the trackball is what it says, a ball to navigate. the trackpad is a little area to move your finger over, similar to an optical mouse.

    Tour looks like it will be a great Blackberry Device. Nice Choice. The Bold is a nice device as well, but only on AT&T.

    yea i have verizon, wanted the bold when it came out but its only on at&t.but the tour looks great..i have a touch pro and it was ok the first few months but now i dont like it.so whats better in your opinion trackball or trackpad?

    That's a tough question. It's really all about your preference. The track ball is a tried and true, proven feature that most people like. The trackpad is still in it's infancy, and people have mixed emotions on it. I saw a comment from a youtube video about the navigator that said it required to much movement to use the trackpad for their taste. It did seem to take a little more movement than the trackball, but I think overall, the trackpad will last longer compared to the trackball with wear and tear. Oh, and welcome to Jurassic Park.
