Didn't believe at first. Of course. A lot of BS going around about "official" releases, but I went on last night and....its true! I upgraded in surprise and now my phone claims to be V4.5.0.77(101). I heard u can't use firefox and has to be internet explorer. So... I have Verizon, and now html email, docs2go, and whatever else 4.5 has to offer!!

Actually it is a full Verizon release. I am on Verizon and downloaded straight from the blackberry website. And I didn't have to delete any Vender files. And is not an EastAsia version file. Its official, and hasn't been around for that long.

Just because it was available at blackberry.com doesn't mean it is a Verizon Wireless release. Their website (Verizon Wireless) still only shows OS 4.3 as their official release. If you have a problem with your Berry, chances are that Verizon will not support it if it has OS 4.5 installed on it.
