finally happy with my pearl
- After tinkering and learning my pearl well I can say I'm finally happy and satisfied with it. If only I could figure out how to get rid off all stock themes but the L one I'd be set.
Booted up at 18175867 Bytes and I have the following 3rd party apps.
Facebook
Crackberry launcher
FML app
The Hockey News
Bolt
Quickpull
I can say after learning my device and optimizing its memory it is well worth it and generally less frustrating. I am finally proud to use my berry

Easiest way to delete the default themes (for me at least) is
c:\program files\common files\research in motion\loader files\
shared\loader files\81xx......\java
Delete the following two files:
net_rim_theme_bbdimension_icon_240x260.cod
net_rim_theme_bbdimension_today_240x260.cod
DO NOT DELETE THE ZEN THEME. Other themes use it as
their backbone.
Connect to DM and it will remove them.08-07-09 02:20 AMLike 0 - Wtf man I've deleted all the useless stuff on my sprint pearl and I boot up with 13mb.
Here what I got.
CB launcher
Dodgers.com launcher
Soft reset
App world
Texts from last night app
Facebook app
Berry scanner app
Bank of America launcher
Chase launcher
All the launchers are only like 10 to 15 kb each.
Any suggestions?
