Well I'm terrible. I just purchased a brand new BlackBerry Curve 9370 from AmazonWireless. This will be the shortest lived BlackBerry I've ever used. I wanted a more crystal clear screen, and the graphics of OS 7.
Hey, it's still a 'Berry ... nothin' terrible about that!

My curve 9300 runs on Black Magic or something. It's been drowned, drunk, dropped. It's still going. I just can't charge my battery, I use my friends busted up Curve to charge my battery.

I wasn't comparing it to current BB devices when I made that statement. I was speaking in general among smartphones as a whole.
Might be even more of a gap. Entry level Android devices have 800mhz-1ghz single-core processors. An iPhone 4 is an entry level device for iOS.

This reminds me of sports car debates...

Everyone goes gaga over a Ford Shelby pumping out 400lbs of torque and 650+hp and has solid quarter-mile times, but put that thing on the Nurburgring and it's a completely different story.

I guess we're looking at different things for our basis of "entry level". If it can handle my laundry list of communication tasks (Nurburgring), then it's not what I would consider entry level.

I really wished people stopped looking at Curves as "entry level" devices.

    If I couldn't have a Bold 9000 or 9900, I would get the Curve 9300/9330 (3G) over everything else.

Yes, you read that right... I would rather have a Curve 9300/9330 even over a 9700 and 9780.

I think it's built sturdier (at least he 9330 with the rubberized backing) and I prefer the keyboard layout and feel more than the 9780 and 9700. They're the only BB I've ever owned and used that I felt like I could just "toss around" and not worry about it. I've dropped my 9330 many times over concrete while walking and not a single hiccup. Granted, that can be said about BB in general, but I've just prefer for the Curve 3G over every other BB device other than a 9000 or 9900.
I prefer the chicklett stle keyboard of the curve series over the keyboard on my 9700. Easier to type on! The 9330 can do what my 9700 does just as well, just different skin. Curves are good phones! Congrats, hope you enjoy it.

    Yup!

The only Bold keyboards I like are on the 9000 and 9900/9930. Curve keyboards fit my fingers/hands better. The Curve 8330 was my first BB and any keyboard that is like that one just seems natural to me. Bold 9900 still reigns supreme over all by a mile though.
