ooh, an 8.5MB attachment. Is that on a BlackBerry 10 device? I like that.
Even better, the file I sent was 11.5mb, it was compressed on my BlackBerry when I downloaded it, pretty nice actually. But shhhh, you don't want the trolls to hear you, they hate it when you prove them wrong.

Pretty awesome. I'll like to try this on a future BB10 phone (still ain't rich enough to buy one, and not desperate enough to replace my Torch 9800, if you know what I mean)

    This would be good stuff.

Then again... I wonder since BB compressed this, the compression is either hardware or software. I'll like to have BIS on top of that. Heh!

    No forwarding at all.

The file was saved to my device(See the TROLOLOL(1)), and shared via email.

Exactly the way it should be done.

OK SO... to be clear I have tested it.

You can send a PDF (tested with 20MB)
You can't send a video (tested with 20MB)

Unfortunately AngryEd but it looks like you'd need a browser for that after all !

Now I'm putting some pants on and ending it there ^

    You asked, and you lost

IF the "SUPER" app had more functionality you could see the file trying to be added as 20MB, but you'll have to stick to a BROWSER for that

Erm, I hate to ask this, but don't typically email operators put a limit of 5-20MB on file size? (inclusive of videos)

Fair enough, I'll remember that when I need to send a file that large.

Glad we both now know that your original limit of 3mb, revised to 6mb is now revised to 20mb, we both educated each other.

True, our Enterprise email has a 15mb limit, not sure of others and I would wager that the carrier can also place limits.

All this discussion if "productivity" overlooks the fact that there are times when I could care less about being productive.

    I take vacations. Sue me.

To me a prosumer device is one that builds a bridge between my professional life and my personal life. One that understands that I want to be able to see an Excel spreadsheet AND send a picture to Instagram. One that helps me keep me and my friends in time with each other's progress on our fitness goals AND that I can use to communicate effectively.

I first heard the term prosumer when stepping up from a point and shoot to a dSLR. That was what my Nikon D80 was categorised. I could use it in such a way that I let the camera make all the decisions or I could shoot manually and get filters and lenses to step up my pictures.

From my perspective BlackBerry is ceding the consumer market to will appeal to those who want something that is midway between consumer and professional. Closer to its roots.

Or I could be barking up the wrong tree and be completely wrong. It's happened.

I don't believe you've ever actually used an iPhone based on the rubbish you spew, but nevermind.

The iPhone has always had predictive text. It doesn't predict the "next word" if that's what you mean.

in other words, a prosumer is a person that prefers a better and faster email, social, typing, and multitasking experience, rather than a 1080 screen, movies, games, fart apps, design etc. More of a phone, less of gaming console and a video player.
