    Does anyone know how to get the gps on the 8900 to operate consistently. Still scanning satellites for 30 minutes. Done battery pull, remove sim card, and the latest os installed. Followed most of the basic instructions such as move outside to clear area for signal to lock but no sucess. Need some good advice.

    The first time I used Telenav it couldn't connect, I was really aggravated and lost in Florida. The next time I used it it found me almost immediately and I've not had a problem since. I think I had the same issue with it with an earlier BB. I would advise to activate it ahead of traveling so this doesn't happen.

    I only use Blackberry Maps. I'm on Tmobile.
