Does anyone know if when view a message thread in the facebook app and someone posts a photo, can it be seen on these phones? i currently use a 9790 and it just shows a blank message so it appears that nothing has been sent, i ask because im decideing which phone to get

Hmmmm. I just noticed you said MESSAGES. If you mean private messages, I'm not sure. I don't think I have gotten pictures in messages.

Facebook works pretty well on this phone. I know you can attach photos to messages. I haven't tried it either as I don't use Facebook to chat to people I don't already have as a contact. A BB10 device has some nice advantages over its predecessors but it would seem many can't get used to it. I got used to it very quickly and find it an improvement. If you choose to switch to BB10 give yourself some time to learn it and also ask questions here about anything that you can't figure out. More than likely someone has already. Good luck.

Yes... you can see and send photos in Facebook messages.
