I installed the facebook for blackberry app, but i don't know how to set up the notifications to appear on my homepage of my BB when i get an alert..help?

This should be automatically configured into the FB BB program. Hmm..try deleting/reinstalling the application.

You also have to remember that not all carriers support 3rd party apps and the notifications will not always update when they should

Are you remembering to leave facebook running in the background? Hit the red "end call" button to get back to your home screen while leaving the app running. If you're exiting the app, you won't get notifications.

speaking of FB alerts... I have a FB alert for 2 msgs. and I cannot find them and I cannot delete it off my homepage. I have the BB Tour. Thank you for any help you can give me...

also my friend is with telus like i am and he has the same app version and his notifications work

I was having the same problem last week. I deleted and re installed the app and that didn't work. I check my email notification email and had to reset that. Then I started working fine hope it works for you.
