I'm not using a leak. I'm on 10.2.1. I saw some reviews stating the same in app world about the app. I'm not alone.

Facebook app is not working well in the news feed.
Try flipboard app, it works fine!

In the Facebook app press the icon on the very top left above the status icon. The press the gear icon beside news feed and make sure it's set to most recent. Hope this helps.

The only way I've found it to work is to log onto the mobile site and change it to most recent then leave the app as top stories. Sounds weird but it seems to work.

Same problem with my zed10. Even if I set it on "recent posts".

Worse, there are times when recent posts shows only game updates of my friends.

No such problem on my Samsung 7.7 tab.

I'm so irritated w/ the FB app I'm going to give the android version a try.

I have events toggled off and birthdays set to none but ppl birthday still showing in my notifications screen and in hub and in my calendar. 500+ friends = lots if birthdays.

It is better on the mobile app, but still not what it should be. Even on the desktop version, it does not always hold to your Most Recent setting. Quite annoying. Who is FB to determine what the Top Stories we want to see are?

My issue with it is, it won't show my timeline before Aug 2013. The mobile site does and so does the Android app, but I'm not using that one.

Do a Google search for "Facebook News Feed Problems" to get an idea of how long this has been an issue.

It's not the app itself it's Facebook that decided this change. Check out veritasium on YouTube he has some things on this

Well check this out. I had downloaded the Android version to see if any better. And decided it wasn't. But something told me to look at app permissions - not sure why - but boy was this an eye opener?!

Take a look at permissions you can choose when using FB from BlackBerry world:




Now look at what the Android version does to permissions AND they can't be toggled off!!!!:







Talk about breach of privacy!! If I were Android user i'd pitch a fit..... then run to nearest BlackBerry dealer. LoL
