Just wanted to know some experiences (positive and negative) some of you have had switching from a Z10 to Q10 and if you regret doing so or loving your your decision to switch.

loving mine so far. I don't miss the screen real estate one bit. I don't play games, so that's a big thing for most.

Glad I made the switch. Screen is much better (even though it is smaller), battery life is excellent, and the build quality & materials on the Q10 are better than the Z10.

    Q10: SQN 100-5 v. 10.2.1.2102

I made the switch from Z10 to Q10 several months ago.
    1. For the Battery life
    2. Performance
    3. Sound (clarity of calls)
I do miss the screen size and brightness of the Z10 unfortunately. But the poor battery life puts me away. My Z10 is still in use, mostly connected to wifi for media apps and what not. Q10 is the real work horse.
Only downside I see with my Q10 whenever I pull it out some lame person thinks it's a legacy device and some dude still using a flip phone had the nerve to say "BlackBerry? That's so 2008" and you know I had to check mate his behind lol. Looking for a good price on the Z30 so I can switch to it.

I switched phones with a friend some time ago. He got my Z10, I got his Q10.
I really like the Q10. It is very beautiful, has enough power, could do everything I need. But one thing was driving me crazy: one handed use.
I couldnt get used to write texts one handed while Im on the go. Sure, the Hardware keyboard is the ultimate way to write on phones, but I love BlackBerrys touch screen keyboard. It is absolutly great! for short answers you just need 3 or 4 swipes with one finger and thats it. no need to stop, no need to get both hands on the phone. One thumb is all you need.
(But Im really looking for all Information about the new Q30. maybe it combines the best of both..)

Is the "" thing your typing a malfunction of your q10 keyboard?

Yeah I use to type one hand without looking on the 9900 so I don't see it being a problem with the q10

I have a Z10 and will bypass both Q10 and Z30 in favour of the BlackBerry Classic later this year.
