ETF charge for sprint? and ....

Is the etf for sprint $200,, I want to get the storm in the next few weeks. I really love the idea of using it overseas as I am traveling to Argentina next month. Do you guys have any idea about putting my sprint line on a seasonal plan that cost $5.99 a month and then porting my phone number to verizon then later pay the ETF????????

If you plan on paying the etf anyways, why exactly do you want to continue paying Sprint anything a month?

Might as well pay the ETF once the Storm releases and switch.

If you port your number that automatically cancels your contract with the prior carrier of your number.
