energizer energistick false advertising?
I dunno if anyone else has tried the micro-usb version of the Energizer Energistick, but in spite of it saying on front of the package that it works with a Blackberry Bold (and given that it's micro-usb, it can't/shouldn't be talking about a 9000), as well as blatantly stating on the back of the package that it works with the Bold 9700, it does not actually have the output capacity to support such phones.
Obviously I probably should have checked the output level before buying, but in my enthusiasm I did not and let the large print do the talking.
Now if Energizer wants to put out a product that doesn't work with some phones, that's totally cool, but the fact that they state on the packaging (implicitly in one place, explicitly in the other) that it works with the Bold 9700 is pretty shocking. I wonder how many others have been duped by this?
