Upon going to the email setup on my 970 (running OS 6, .534, on TMO), I got an "update available" screen. Then, I get to a download screen for version 6.11.0419.0755 of the email setup application. I had not gotten such an update prompt before. Is this maybe part of the BIS 4.0 rollout announced today?

No, not because of BIS. It's an update to the email setup app, hasn't got much to do with BIS. I've seen about 3/4 weeks ago, when I wiped and reloaded a new OS.

I just checked what version I have installed and my version is 6.11.0324.1701.
I've also opened the Email setup app, but it hasn't prompted me to update it. Hmmmm.

6.11.0419.0755 was given to me as an update. Kind of odd that it is the same version across carriers and software versions.

I updated to .570 and I wasn't recieving my emails, so I went into the settings and it prompted me for an update. It updated to 6.11.0419.0755 too.

IS THERE ANY UPDATE FOR THE EMAIL SETUP? EACH TIME I NEED TO SETUP MY EMAIL ACCOUNT I AM PROMPTED TO UPDATE AND AFTER DOING THIS IT CRASHES MY DEVICE SOFTWARE. Any advice on work around or is RIM fixing it?
