I just got my blackberry a couple of days ago... I set up my email account on my phone, and I was receiving emails but now, I am not receiving email messages on my phone. Is there a way to manually check email? Or can someone give me another solution? Thanks.

That happened to me, i jsut deleted the accounts on the BB and recreated then and that fixed the problem.

This happens to me every once in a while and the culprits is usually that my phone lost the data signal.

If pyctici's solution doesn't work, try either pulling out the battery or using something like QuickPull to reset your device. You could also manually force the phone to reconnect by turning data services off and then back on:
MANAGE CONNECTIONS > TURN ALL CONNECTIONS OFF; TURN ALL CONNECTIONS ON
