I don't really think about it to be honest. BB isn't as big over here as it is in the States so not many people really take much notice when they see you using one. Although, I was in a training course the on Tuesday and during a coffee break I pulled it out (no not that. . .my BB ) to check my messages and the guy next to me noticed and immediately pulled out his 8800 too! I think he was just letting me know that I wasn't the only privileged person in the room!

I just put it in my trouser pocket or suit pocket depending on what I am wearing. I am not a big fan of the belt holster.

Right now I carry it in my shirt pocket, or in my jeans. Once they release the OtterBox for the Pearl 8130, it's getting holstered on my belt.

I have it in the RIM BB flip case thingy....on my hip. I don't usually set it on my desk, as my assistants have Blackjacks (poor things) and they may have sticky fingers for the Blackberry if I'm not paying attention.

If I am listening to music...still on my hip. I don't have too much time to sit and take it out without forgetting it if I get up.

If I had a BB I would carry it on a belt clip, on my right hip, like I do with my Moto i855. In school, it would go in my pocket like my Sony CLIE (an ancient Palm-powered PDA) does.

if my purse has an outside pocket/slot, BB goes in there

if not, it's in a Vaja leather case

With the different models I've used, I have had hard shell holsters, soft side gloves, leather cases, but don't really have a favorite.

The hard shell holsters are easier to get in and out of, but it tends to jump out if, say, you're trying to run across a street and then it lands in the middle of the street, and traffic is coming and OMG...

I flaunt my OEM black BB case. I leave it on my desk, table when I go out to eat, bar when I have drinks...It always visible. I have plans to trick it out later but, now I am just learning how to use it!!
