One week and I'm already hopelessly addicted. I constantly fight with my fiance because she has yet to unleash her inner crack demon.

My addiction began March 2006. Addiction is the word. Like one day i forgot my BB at home, and I almost felt lost, lol. I didnt know if i was forgetting to do something because EVERYTHING is in my calender. And just knowing how many text, emails, BB messenger, yahoo messenger, and AIM's i was missing just put me in a bad state that whole afternoon, lol

Blackberry addiction is easy to control. Simply give all your family members cattle prods and give them free reign to use them on you when your blackberry takes precidence over them :-D

Let's just say I've tried switching to a regular Motorola V3, and that switch lasted about 2 days. I couldn't have popped my sim card back into my blackberry any quicker.

Last week at my little sisters birthday dinner my dad and myself got in trouble because we were sending pin messages back and forth during dinner.

He was at the other end of the table and I couldn't hear him!

    My mom was not pleased.

Putting my bb into phone only mode helps to reduce the number of interuptions with my wife or while I sleep.

Well I just got my pearl, so I know I'm addicted to it. I can't put it down. I usually run the battery dead, and have to plug it in. I'm hoping with the days to come as the phone becomes more regular in my life I will be able to put it down for awhile.

I have found that nothing curbs my bb addiction like a dead battery...note to self...never let my battery go dead again.

If sensing those phantom vibrations and rings is being an addict, yes I'm addicted. I swear that my BB went off and when I take a look, nope, it didn't go off.

So is addicted a good word for it? Not at all, I say i'm in love with it. Because being addicted to something is sometimes misinterpreted for something bad! BB are not bad!!!

Can it really be controlled? My dad wants the two of us to go fishing in Canada at a lake miles from everything, and I am thinking of not doing it because it means a week without my BB. Is that sick or what?

I am addicted only to it's quality and brand name...I have never had a phone sound so good using the ear piece, speakerphone, or BT headset. I never leave home without it...I would feel "lost" if my BB wasn't in my pocket!

To curb my BB usage, I have few rules

    No BB in the bathroom
No BB when I walk the dog
No BB when I am eating a meal with another person if they don't have their own BB

MMmmm so I'm trying to cut down on my BB usage. When the battery dies I don't go running for the charger, I see how long I can last without it. When I go to my bf's house I leave it in my car. I try not to sleep with it on my bed, next to my pillow anymore. Now it lies next to my bed =)

I do spend several times a day checking my BB for messages. However, I use my BB as opposed to checking for messages on my laptop or Dell Axim. So, the time is about the same. Now, if you ask my wife, I'm sure you would get a different story

Of course I'm addicted to my BB. I'm a tech geek at heart. And I treat it like a carton of eggs. If you touch my BB, I swear to God, I will throw my desk chair at you.

I'm kidding, but nobody touches my BB.
