I was in a really boring meeting, with my boss talking directly to me (there were only three in the conference room), and I still found myself pulling out my Pearl and looking at it, hoping for a message or something. (And it's my personal device - my company only puts out Windows Mobile devices. Of course they don't knw that I use my Pearl for messaging more than my company provided device.)

well i work in an area that doesn't have cell reception in the mountains. so when i come back from work i cant wait to get into the service area so a can see if i got any emails or voice messeges. best part o f my work day

Just got mine not too long ago and i cannot stop showing it off! I work with about 800 people and have had some come up and ask to see it.. They are all amazed!

My husband tells me that he's going to take my bb and hide it from me. He hates that, even when I'm not working, I have to have it and check it constantly.

Oh yeah.... I'm addicted big time.

Reminds me a few months ago when I was working late nearly every night and working on my laptop until late at night - wife constantly complained.

She finally said to me that either the laptop would go or else she would go to which I replied (without thinking of the consequences) that I would sure miss her - cost me three nights on the couch!!

Sheesh... I had three of my e-mail addresses forwarded to my Blackberry. I have now stopped checking the computer mail!! Thank goddess I can delete from the phone!!

I am addicted. I have my work one which is the classic 957 and I bought myself a curve on side. Before I got my curve I was actually addicted to the 957 and i used to take it everywhere. I ended up sending email while peeing once....that was awkward. And then i did drop it inthe toilet. (seperate occasions). Now, with my curve i leave it away from any sort of humidity or water type substances. I try not to sleep with it too much and ....thats alll i got...

Well, shortly after getting my berry last month, I stayed up way too late playing with it. After finally putting it on my nightstand and turning out the light, I couldn't go to sleep so I turned the light back on, grabbed it off the nightstand, and continued to use it in bed. I felt very crackish at that moment!

It's my first BB and I used it more when I just got it - I think - than I do now. BUT, I definitely use it more than any other phone I have ever had. However, I CAN put it on quiet when I need to, and don't find myself "twitching" to check it every five minutes. LOL.
