I only want my gmail calendar to be visible in the calendar app. But the local calendar always shows up when I try to make a new entry. How do I only use my gmail calendar for everything?

While in calendar pull down from top bezel to show more options, click Manage and uncheck all the other accounts. Now it should primarily offer your GMail account everytime you create a new appointment

In settings, accounts, I have the email calendar contacts as one setting

Since I use gmail it's all together

Should I do them each separately

I also have a Google account (just on custom domain) and I didn't set it up separately, just the regular way. Can you post a screenshot? I always had the two separated in settings, but technically if you set it to GMail instead of Local, it should do the job.
