in the phone while upgrading? I think that I killed my media card. I cant even get the phone to read the card now. Yes, I did try to force it in the slot (but have since figured it out). Now it is all gone bye bye (the pics and everything).

I left mine in when I upgraded and it was unaffected, works just like it did before. Never even occurred to me to pull it before hand.

Ugrading has no effect on the media card. But rarely, it needs to be reformatted after a upgrade to 4.5. You will know if your BB does not read it or you get constant reboots.
