Everything will still be there.
Yeah, you will be fine.
A battery pull with close apps that are open and free memory that is tied up. All your data and messages will be untouched. Be careful to save work in apps like Docs To Go.

No, if you saved to phone's memory or sd card.
You don't have to save them anywhere. Everything that was there before will be there after.
Going to throw this out there....
Yes a battery pull can cause this to be gone...
We had a client the other day on an 8330. Not sure what memory was at. But they had 1xev, not BBM working, no email working. And browser was shot....
Suggested Host Routing Table, service book, etc....
Nuttin....
So suggested Ctrl -Alt, delt reset... Still no luck...
So we asked them to pull the battery for 20-30 sec then boot up device..
Upon booting up everything started coming back up on line, all data, 1XEV, BBM, browser icon was pushed.. The works..
But all messages were gone. and for some odd reason user saved pictures to device, instead of card... But calender was wiped......
So long story short, a reset of the battery can be good but also bad...
BACK UP device frequently please.....
Stuff happens.. It may not happen all the time. But when crap hits the fan it will be a very bad day for you and your support staff...:(
Opposite Q.
I texted a friend and he somehow saved it instead of deleting it. Now, even though he has deleted EVERYTHING, including me out of his contact, but each time I sms him ...my same original message pops up. I told him to do a batterypul etc, but nothing will get rid of it.?? He has a curve also. Any help? Thx
He needs to delete the message out of his saved messages folder.
If that doesn't work, his SMS database may be corrupt and need to be cleared from DM. He'll lose all of his SMSs if he does that, though. I've had it happen to email accounts on occassion, not SMS, but I imagine it could happen there, too.
When I do a battery pull on my os 5 bold 9000, I lose some recent SMS messages that I received. Never seems to be ones that I sent out. Any ideas on this?
