I was watching the Crackberry review on the holster for the Classic and it reminded me of something. For the last 2 years with the Z10 I haven't been using one.

I guess it just dawned on me after that I don't recall a lot of people still using them.

Do you still have the hip holster for your BlackBerry or is it now in everyone's jacket pocket or pants pocket? I avoid at all costs the pants pocket as I've seen a few accidents.

Belt holsters or pant holsters just get in the way or the phone gets hung up on shi*, so now I'm a pocket kinda guy. There was a time where it was cool to have it on your belt if you wanted to show off your device popularity, now the whole world minus 5% has a cell phone and they are small and slim enough to keep snug in the pocket. Although Blackberries is another beast and deserve the recognition of a belt holster. ROCK ON BLACKBERRY USUERS WEAR THEM PROUD AND LOUD.

Me too, especially with my job, couldn't live without a holster for any of my BlackBerry's and certainty not for my Z30.

Holsters are useful if you have to go back and forth between quiet and loud notification profiles.

You can set up the holster profile as vibration or quiet and out of holster profile as normal. So when the phone is inside the holster, you can be sure that your phone is not going to ring.

I use one for my Z10,Z30 and Classic. Also use two more for my spare Z10 batteries (with chargers). Wish they would make one for my Passport. So right now I'm using the Seidio case and belt clip holster, like it but it's just not Blackberry.
Does anyone still use the hip holster for their BB?-img_20150117_122411.jpg.

They did make one. However, they decided to grossly overprice it to ensured that no one would actually be able to justify buying it.
BlackBerry Online Store - Passport Leather Swivel Holster - Black

Also using a Seidio case/holster setup on my Passport, which is like 1/3 the price of the official holster.

Ahhhhhh.....the good old belt hip holster. They are all over the place in my line of business (construction). Especially with the office workers.

I personally use a case and in my pocket she goes.

Yes. I have holsters for all three of my phones. I use them when I'm running or working out. Anyone else notice that it's hard to find an mp3 player that matches BlackBerry's sound quality?

For daily use, yes, I still use a nylon holster for my z10 and z30. For evenings out into town or when I wear a suit, they both go in my suit jacket pockets.

I was told hip holsters are for old people lol..i use to wear them, but not anymore..i prefer my Q10 naked for the most part, and when I'm not using it, I put it in a nice BlackBerry pouch. Nice.

I have used a belt holster with my first Blackberry Pearl 8100 and since then I can't do without one. I have had one for my 9780, Z10 and now I have recently ordered one for my precious BB Classic which is a must-have for me. I also have pouches for those days when I feel the need to carry one BB in my pocket and the other in my hip holster. BB holsters and pouches are the perfect solution not only for protection but also convenience, e.g., sleeping magnetic sensor as well as auto answer and end call features. In my opinion, the belt/hip holster provides the best solution since it also provides that always-near to reach, quick and easy access to one's BB. How it looks is relative to one's preference but it doesn't really matter much to me. In the final analysis, my overall preference always rest on convenience of use and protection of my Blackberry device.

I switch between the BlackBerry holster and OEM case for my Classic. Depends on my mood, but mostly use the case and put it in my jacket pocket.
