I believe this is planned for tomorrow... I may be wrong. Usually, however, with the announcement of quarterly earnings, activation numbers are also mentioned. Fingers crossed, I suppose.

Probably because of the staggered launches of the Q10 and Z10 affecting the first two BB10 quarters is my guess. By the next quarter we should have a better picture as they'll have had a full rollout of the Q10, Z10 and Q5. This report tomorrow will be interesting but still not a full indication of whether or not BB10 is making traction. Personally, I'm really curious about the Q5. I expect the Q10 to do well as part of a BB refresh cycle, the Q5 is more of an unknown quantity.
