Last year, RIM purchased assets from DataViz. What exactly came of that? I think it still costs to get the full version of DTG.

Why would RIM purchasing Datviz change what the application costs?

They did change the price from $40 to $20 and now comes free with the OS7 devices. I got mine for $20 after RIM bought it.

Well it seemed that if RIM was gonna drop $50 million on the purchase, they would have at least done something with it.

Is that app even any good? I used the trial because my computer was broken and I needed to update my resume. It could not load a simple text file and screwed up the formatting in the document even though I didn't touch any of the mystery boxes in the document (looked at it after I fixed my computer). It didn't support columns either.
