I highly doubt we will see flagship phones the size of the Q10 or any other older BlackBerry again. There's just to much need for a large screen nowadays. Just a phone is not enough it needs to be a gaming device, computer, TV, ect... most people who want these things want/need a big phone, and you know what they say about big phones...big screens

I for one miss the small phone factor, I'll stick with my Q10 for as long as I can!

Everything runs in cycles BUT I think many sizes will be offered by various companies. Apple is an example of this. 4 inch SE's to 5.5 inchers and plenty of choices in between.

What's old is new again. People are always looking for new and novel, and a generation who has always known large phones might find something different to be appealing.

I just want a phone that can be dropped without breaking. I remember leaving my 9700 on the roof of my car multiple times and having it clatter onto the pavement when I pulled away. It scratched but never cracked. That's not a test I would try with any contemporary phone.

OP the Classic is too big for you???

I also enjoy a smaller form factor, I thought the Classic was perfect. I migrated to Passport and even though it's enormous, I love it. Keyboard is amazing, screen size is unbelievable for emails and reading articles.

As much as people say that trends change, I doubt we will see a major shift to small devices UNLESS some sort of technology comes and enables us to have phones that are large that can be made smaller.

We all know Samsung and I believe LG to are working on Bendable/Foldable Display phones, so some day your phone be can go from Q10 size to Galaxy S8+ size and then back to Q10 size depending on how you want to use it.

Until then, we are going to see larger Displays as companies like LG and Samsung strive to fit bigger Displays in smaller body. The S8 and G6 are just the beginning.

Microsoft also has patents on foldable mobile screens.

People are turning myopic... or have now adjusted and learned to like the larger screens. Steve Jobs was wrong. Or at least now he is... :-D

i would love to have a Priv2 with only 4.7" screen. Would be a bit like coming back to Palm Pre 2 or 3.

Yes I was just thinking how perfect my Classic and Bold 9900 were as I stuff my Priv into my rear jeans pocket and try to carry a backpack at the same time. I would love the Classic with Android.
Classic was/is perfectly designed with the best keyboard on the planet. The ultimate one handed device with exceptional call quality and messaging. I don't want or need Android (I also have a S7 Edge) I just want an updated browser and I'll be a-ok for my usage.
