Do YOU carry more than one cell phone with you?
- Well, I do. I have the BB9900(TMO), the BB9930 (PagePlus/Verizon), NexusS (TMO) and ya know I love all three of them although I give the slightest edge to my BB9900 because of wifi calling and keyboard. I can't help myself. I also have (on PagePlus)an Epic4G that I don't carry with me. I know there are more of you out there! hahhaa. I even have Google voice number to call three of my cells phones for a sterio affect .hahhaha. But seriously, the BB99xx are serious work horses for me and I use most of the native apps. The advantage of my Android Nexus S is a bigger screen for some serious web cruising/reading docs etc. I like the querty keyboard on my BB's and the touch screen are a nice added feature-I don't always use but there are times when touching is just more convenient. I have both Blackberries on OS7.1. Yesterday I nuked my 9930 but thanks to all the info on this site I resurected it from the dead! lol. It did take a while though. I also have loaded a voip client on my BB9900 (FGvoip) but there are some minor bugs to it and the developers are working on a fix. Calling out via voip (wifi or 3g) is great, no lag, clear voice and I only pay about 2c/minute this route compared to 8-10 c/min using the standard minutes plan from cell providers.

- Nope and I refuse too! Daily life is busy and crazy enough and I don't see the need or purpose of carrying more than one phone regardless of occupation or lifestyle (I know many will disagree but that's just my take and my choice). If ya need to reach me bad enough my one and only BB has several options for doing so.

- Have a 9930 as my main phone but also have my old iPhone4 which is no longer on a cell network. I have Skype on the iPhone and wifi hotspot on my BB so its basicly a fully functional iPhone instead of just an iPod. This way I have my beloved BB and still have the cool "toy" apps on my old iPhone.01-19-12 12:52 PMLike 0
- I carry 2... Currently a Pre 3 for a personal phone and a 9810 now for work... I've carried multiples for a long time and have always liked having the options. However, since I started digging into tablets, I'm starting to find that I don't use my personal phone for much except SMS and as a tether for my tablets. I have a Playbook, a Touchpad, and an OG iPad, and it's a heck of a lot nicer to do most things on a tablet sized screen. I'm at the point now where if I knew I wouldn't get into any hot water for personal use on a corp phone, I'd probably drop my personal phone for the expense and use only the 9810. It's the first BB I've had that I feel like can handle the things for which I've kept a non-BB phone (hotspot, multimedia playback, decent screen size).01-19-12 01:00 PMLike 0

- I'm like that, too. I have four numbers in use or tied to my BlackBerry. There's (1) my primary Sprint line, (2) my prepaid T-Mobile SIM for sending certain international texts, (3) my Google voice number (forwarded to my BlackBerry), and (4) my home phone landline number (also forwarded to my BlackBerry). I certainly don't need more devices.01-19-12 02:45 PMLike 0
- Three phones.
The work issued 9650.
My personal 9930 *always*
A secondary personal phone, which today is my Atrix. I was driving everybody crazy with two BBM IDs. Otherwise I have my 9810 and my 9860. I switch around between the Atrix and the 9810 or the 9860.
But my 9930....that's my baby. Always with me.01-19-12 02:56 PMLike 0 - I have two phones; a work 9900 and a personal 8330.
After hours and on the weekend I just leave my work phone at home and during working hours I leave my personal phone in my office drawer so it's not like I'm actually carrying two phones around with me all the time.01-19-12 03:04 PMLike 0 - I have two phones; a work 9900 and a personal 8330.

The only time I appreciate the 9900 more is when I need to surf the web (which is extremely rare) then, obviously, the 9900 is much nicer to use.01-19-12 04:58 PMLike 0 - I want to keep my work and personal life seperate. I can just ignore my personal BB and check it when I have a chance. I don't have to worry about missing a client's call or an important email. Conversely, if I'm out with friends in the evening or on the weekend I don't want to be bothered with work related stuff so I just leave my work BB at home. It's not like I carry both phones with me all the time.01-19-12 05:02 PMLike 0
