I have slacker premium and I think it is cheaper to cache a whole album than to buy songs.$9.99/mth isn't bad imho.sure you lose your music when changing sd cards.radio shack has 16GB cards on sale for $26.

I loaded 600 songs from my CDs. Have Slacker, Pandora and Tune In Radio, all free versions. That's more than enough music for me. And free.

There is a Spotify app for BB now I believe. Why not drop Slacker and spend money for Spotify?

I cache Slacker. The only place I listen to it is at my jobs living quarters where I have poor service, so caching helps.

I still buy CDs occasionally when Best Buy has them for $6 - $8. Amazon has an amazing amount of free music, and that's where I get most now.

I try to listen to cached BBM Music, but I think the cached content has really poor audio quality. Anyone else experience that?

I used to have a premium Slacker account. Now I don't even have Slacker installed. The last version of it that I tried buffered constantly and was unusable. I do not have any issues with Pandora, iheartradio, Nobex, or TuneInRadio buffering, so I use those and ditched Slacker.

I also have 1820 songs on my SD card.

That is only a small fraction of my music collection. I have a 1TB external HDD, and half of it contains music.
