Is there a way I can use another button to power on the phone? (curve 8330) .
I keep on powering on while it's in the case on my belt (accidentally hit the on button right thru the case) and because I don't get a signal at work, I kill my battery.
Put the phone in Standby mode before putting it in your case by pressing the silver Mute key at the top of the phone. This will prevent your BB from activating, calling ppl, etc. It also has the added benefit of saving your battery.
You can turn off all connections by going to Manage Connections and select turn off all before putting your BB in Standby.
