    In the general settings of email - you can pick to have separate email and sms/mms folders/icons or you can pick combined or theme controlled.

    I see the difference when you choose separate - but I don't see the difference in combined and theme contolled...

    I think it just means that combined will override what a theme COULD control. I would assume that a theme could, if it wanted to, either combine or separate them.

    Simple, some themes combine the message inboxes, some themes dont. You can control it.
