Basically, none.

No matter how you perform a reset the result will essentially be the same,
Keyboard, software or battery pull.

The only time I ever reset my device is if an app install / removal, OS upgrade
requires it or the phone completely locks up

Pulling the battery or forcing a reset from the keyboard is used when something is not working correctly. Usually, it is best to leave software to use the memory to best advantage.

A full power restart does clear some additional space by resetting all the cached data. The keyboard reset does not reset everthing.
