I've had an email conversation Gmail to Gmail, Curve to Curve with a coworker of mine. Emails are being received almost instantly. This is multiple emails in a row too. It doesn't appear to be polling every 15 minutes. I don't know, it'll probably stop working this well in a few minutes, but it is definitely encouraging!
