Dang, would be nice if all BB's came with at least a 1GB in the slot. I guess the Bold will solve that by having 1GB onboard already.

Verizon shop threw in a 1gig when I purchased the phone. But I then purchased an 8gig - waiting for the OS to accommodate the 8gigs - right now I use it as a 4gig.

Since I've got an Otterbox, I really don't use the 1 gig and their small size means I'm not sure that I'd want to be swapping and probably losing one or the other.

Just as an update - verizon issued a slightly updated OS yesterday and I now have the full 8gigs on my SD card.

Why thank you LOL seriously tho I've been waiting for an OS update from VZW for so long... but ya see I have about 15 friends that have BB's because of their Business or line of employment sooo I have tons of BB Messenger friends...

Im not sure from what they mentioned in the thread apprarently it allows the phone to recognize a 8gb SD card... but im not sure what else it does... im hopeing it does more then just that tho! well see im in the process of locating it
