Diamonds can scratch!
Hey guys!
I scratched my Curve's display with my earrings and I am heartbrokennnn!
I saw a product on an online store called Displex LCD Scratch Remover gel: Displex LCD Scratch Remover
Apparently, it can remove surface scratches...has anyone tried it? Or have any other recommendations or better products (other than just getting the LCD replaced)....
I already ordered a screen protector but I want to get rid of the scratch before I apply it...
Thanks!

For the minimal cost, you might as well order an OEM one from CNN and put your new protector on new screen...

You are better off not trying to buff out or cover up the scratch with that displex. It will end up making the screen blurry. If you put on a clear vinyl screen protector like a Best Skins Ever, it will make the scratch seem invisible anyway.

I tried Displex and was very disappointed. Ended up getting a BSE Best Skins Ever, Inc. Home Page screen skin, which in addition to preventing future scratches, nicely hid the existing ones. I don't know how deep your scratch is, but it might actually disappear with a screen cover.

Order a new lens via cnn.cn and put a screen protector over it! Buffing a a scratch out of plastic is time consuming and difficult to make look perfect, so you are better of spending six bucks and ordering a new lens. I you replace the lens and don't use a screen protector, just try not to press the phone against your ear when you use it!

My earrings scratch the **** out of my display also. Best bet is just buying a new LCD cover from cnn.cn. They're only $10 I think...
