I am very much a 1 handed typer,

I got a laptop bag in one hand while punching out an email, or I am holding product, punch info into my GPS whilst reading it out of an email.

I can achieve a pretty consistent high 20's WPM with 1 hand, moving to 2 hands triples that, but often the email replies are fewer than 40 words, so it isn't needed to use both hands.

how the heck do you use 2 hands to dial?

when holding the phone in 2 hands the number key is fully controlled by the left thumb!

Which is why I mostly use the phone two-handed.

If you're talking about actually dialing someone not in my address book, heck I don't
even remember. Probably did it with one hand. Some in address book, just spelled it
out from the home screen.

90% of the time I use both hands to dial, whether I'm using the number pad, or if I'm spelling out the contact name.
