    We had a user, they were fired and now when wiping the device, the user had it protected, and get the screen to enter the username and password. The fired user will not respond.
    Will not go any further.

    Can we not force this off on the BES? I highly doubt it as almost all of what the BES used to do is gone from the menus......

    There is no way to get around BlackBerry Protect. Without his BBID, you have a brick.

    The only chance is to send the device to BlackBerry with a proof of purchase.

    BlackBerry Protect Anti-theft Protection - A Note to Enterprise Administrators

    You could disable BB Protect via BES to begin with... but now it's too late. You'll have to contact BlackBerry technical support to get the device unlocked.
