    Successfully updated Desktop Manager to v7.0 as prompted after having to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 (which update apparently required). Went to sync all my Organiser stuff and will not sync properly. Did all the usual reinstall and reboot to no avail. Called Blackberry Tech Support who fessed up to problem but tell me they currently do not have a fix (and cannot provide rollback to v6.0 - which worked fine!!). Am very annoyed!! Any ideas for workaround?

    try uninstalling DM 7, reboot, install DM 6.
    A lot of folks are having issues with DM 7.

    As I said in my post, I can't! BB no longer offer DM 6 and once you update there is nothing to roll back to. Can't find DM 6 offered anywhere online by third party either as already tried. Do you know where I can find DM 6?

    In another thread (one of many on the new dm) someone said to backup remove resync or something like that. Look for it as I never sync and there are way too many threads for me to want to dig thru them for something I don't use.
