Though you may be able to end the conversation from the Contact list while the face is still yellow. That may do it. But if you're looking for a way to read a message and not let the other person know, then don't use BBM. lol
LOL! Thanks. I'm not sure if I was clear though. If I sent you a bb message and I decided after that I didn't want you to read it -- can I delete it before you get a chance to read it?
You could delete the contact, and that deletes all message history and you'll disappear off their list. Readd them back after!
Yup. As Emmilyy put it, that's the only way. But you need to delete the person right away before they read it. Once you hit that send button whether it be BBM,SMS, an Email, its out of your hands at that point.
