Is there a way to delete the "sample" menus? That is, "sample songs, sample videos, preloaded pictures." I've deleted the files themselves, so it's blank, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of those menus too.

I believe you would have to do this from your home pc. Someone can correct me if im wrong, but you have to go to the rim folder and delete from there. Sorry I cant give you the play by play but...
Nope... the folders are there to stay.
You may be able to delete it by deleting something in the Java folder, but I wouldn't mess with it.
Like Jayden said, you're stuck. Best just to learn to ignore them.
If you delete those files AFTER the OS is loaded, they
will still appear as 0kb files. If you delete them prior
to loading the OS (optimizing) they will not show up
at all.
Agreed. They are hard coded into the OS. Easy enough to ignore them.
Seems kinda silly for RIM to leave them behind. Kinda like having the "Demo" menu available all the time. WTF. No one wants them after they buy the dang thing.
lol....................damn, I almost pissed on myself @ WTF
I know I personally like the selection of preloaded pics. I deleted the demo video. I also kept all the preloaded ringers/alerts. Of course I am confused at what exactly is being seen that is disliked.
