    Hi All

I have my work handset here, a 9700 on an Express server.

I had previously set it to keep messages forever which I now regret to a degree as I will hardly look at messages over 3 months old.

I now want to delete all the messages older than say 90 or 120 days without deleting them off my server.

Am I right in thinking that selecting delete on handheld, then delete all the older messages and then turn it back to handheld and mailbox will work and not delete anything off the server when it switch it back on?

    Thanks

yeah but it is set to both now, and I need to delete stuff from the handheld and I want to be sure that if i change it to handheld only, delete loads and then back to mailbox and handheld that it wont go deleting them off my mail server.

Change it to Handheld Only and do a test delete of just one message and see if it works.

Set it to prompt you or simply delete by highlighting a data and doing Menu/Delete Prior. When you do Delete Prior the default delete method has always been delete from handheld only.
