Delete all text input

Sometimes when I am writing a txt message, BBM or email, I accidentaly delete everything I have wrote.

This is obviously a short cut I am accidentaly pressing but sometimes I want to do it on purpose but I don't know what combo of keys it is.

If anybody could let me know please.

pressing the shift and del key at the same time will erase the entire field of txt.

And in case you do it accidently and want your text back then you can press the BB menu button and click on paste.

Thanks for telling me how to delete all. I just tried it but then when I push the BB button there is no past option
