Actually I am not that emotionally. But dear Mr Chen, if you read this, please act!

Since the update 10.3.1. me and many other loyal BlackBerry users and Passports users can't hear the notification sounds!!!

Today I missed my alarm clock. Today I overheard many emails and whatsapp messages.

Please turn it like it was on 10.3.0. It was loud and clear. With the latest update the sound has been drastically lowered.

And I never had issues with my out of the box passport. But many has. And today was a test. And it failed. I miss important emails to react fast. I barely can hear the sound. Whether it's email, bbm or whatsapp.

I really hope for a fix or any solution is greatly appreciated.

Serious question. Have you gotten your hearing tested recently. Many people suffer with advanced hearing loss without even knowing it.

Hi fistmaster I would do security wipe or reload OS, because when I'm on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2243 my volume are loud but I do install by autoloader
Do a back up then perform security wipe hope it fix the issue

Try do non destructive update using darcy tool to PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2267

Step :
1 open and run darcy tool go to build autoloader tab
2 extract the core OS and radio you have download using 7zip/win rar
3 add to build autoloader tab the core and the radio file
4 create it and name it anything
5 run the autoloader Connect your phone, done

This is non destructive update so you won't lose your data

Either way is fine, but I will choose reload Os because sometimes security wipe take a long time

Just in case you missed this....there is now an option to customize the volume of notification for each app aside from having a master volume. I am on the leaked 10.3.1 and I don't observe a noticeable difference in the volume of my notifications

Wait isn't there a battery live savings option on 10.3.1? I'm sure I read that somewhere. Could it be defaulting to a lower notification tone to save your battery life. I would look in to the options for that, some of those battery life options are clicked to "on" by default. Idk, just thinking out loud.

No leaks, no be buzz. Just a regular business man here. Happy camper last month when I unboxed my passport.

Just this annoying lower sound issue. No flickering issue. Just you can't hear any sound when I get my Mails or messages.

But thanks to Usman, I will delete my passport and install my backup. Will take an hour or so, but thats fine

Just security wiped my passport as of right now. Next step is putting my latest backup on it. And then lets see and check! It really be the solution.

I tested it! And you were right. Sound was perfectly and like before, Sir.

Now I am restoring my latest backup to my passport. And then lets see.
