Wow that's crazy... I have an unlimited data plan with att for $30/m. I couldn't imagine using only 1.5mb on a blackberry... I even used well over that on a non-pda. I used at least 5mb a month on a regular cell phone easy and have probably used well over that on the week I've had my blackberry so far.

Hmmm... My unlimited data plan with AT&T is $44.00. Where did you get one for $30.00?

... in the store last week when I bought my Berry.
It's also listed as the standard price for the plan when I login to my account online and view available features. You might want to check out the 'Rate Plan & Features' section of your account online, then head to 'Add/Manage Features' to see if it's listed at a lower price there.
I lowered the price of my unlimited MEdia Net (on my phone prior to the Berry) from $20 a month to $15 a month just by randomly checking my features and pricing one day. Do this often! You won't get moved to newer, lower, pricing if they drop their prices on any service you subscribe to unless you do it yourself!
If you can't find the cheaper pricing online, try calling customer care and asking. $30 a month is the new advertised rate for their 'BlackBerry Personal' plan which includes unlimited data. The price listed on the att website prior to logging in is $35 a month, but they drop the extra $5 if you have a voice plan, too.
