    Greetings Everyone,

I'm considering starting a new line with data, email and messaging only. (No voice minutes but want unlimited picture & text messages.) I know, I know, it's overall cheaper to get voice and add-on data, but I want to have no voice minutes (long story). Of the major carriers who would you recommend? ATT, Sprint, Tmobile, Verizon?

Since I live in L.A., signal strength is generally not an issue; my primary issues will be:

    1. price
    2. no lockdowns; if I want to use any apps I feel I should be able to
    3. data limits? (prefer unlimited data)

    Thanks for your help.

T-Moile has this plan which you could then add unlimited messaging to.
    BB Plan
    Messaging Plan
Your total would be around $55 per month.

Check out sprint at their relay site. They have good voice barred plan that is unlimited. A lot of Deaf people use this plan. I have yet run across apps that have been blocked. I was with Tmobile before but service was not as good.
At&t does not seem to offer this and Verizon charges too much. Check out the carrier's websites and call them with the questions.
