    Using the 9700...

I added a few folders to sort the various applications on the BB Home screen, and none of the newly created folders have an icon - just a plain folder.

Is there a way to create new folders that will have some type of icon displayed - particularly useful in distinguishing one folder from another?

Okay, I don't know what ^that was all about but.... howdy.

    1. Highlight your newly created folder.
    2. Menu, and select Edit Folder.
    3. Scroll over with your trackpad until you highlight the folder's icon and click it.
    4. Select a new icon.
    5. Save.

The option is there when you're creating the folders too.

    Hope that helped.

Edit: That's based on OS .586 by the way. Still, it should be the same for whatever you're running.

Thanks. That did help. The options for icons aren't very appealing - but that's not your fault - and at least now I can visually tell the new folders apart.

    Glad I found this thread!

I had two folders that were blank on my home screen! How would one add more folder icons to the choices?
