Now that I have 10.2 I would like to try the picture password. Is there any way to use your own picture, or do you have to use the ones provided?

Welcome to 10.2!

You can use the default ones and custom ones. Basically any photo file you want.
When you're setting up picture password and you get to the point where you'll need to choose a picture, there should be a large button at the bottom of the screen that will take you to the file manager when pressed and that way you can choose a custom photo

Lol. Set it for a minute to test then set it back after you're done playing

You'll love the picture password. BlackBerry did a great job on this.

One of the best password options I've seen on any device so far! Hope BlackBerry keeps surprising us with clever little but useful features like this.
Shame people don't give them a chance tho

I never. Used my. Word password as it was a pain in the neck. I always wished I could extend the time to 1 hour because I wanted it to stay away. :-). Now I have it on 2 minutes so I can play with it. :-)

Isn't the point to be a difficult password? Enlarging the acceptable area makes it easier to get even by accident

Actually, I was afraid my fat finger would get in the way of where I was putting the number, but, as the whole set of numbers moves, you can put your finger far from the target and move the number to the correct place. I picked a very small target and have no trouble.
