    I really like my Curve
I have a Curve 8310 with camera and want the latest and greatest Curve. I believe its the 8900. Is that it and is it worth the upgrade? Any advise would be appreciated

8900 is a solid device, even lacking 3G. But with quadruple the memory of your 8310, you'd really appreciate the difference.

This is like asking is it worth upgrading from a Cadillac Cimarron to a Cadillac CTS.

    The answer is YES!

I agree with everyone else. I really liked my 8900 - I went to it from my 8320. Since I'm almost always on WiFi, I didn't notice the speed difference between the 8900 and my 9700. I think you'll like it a lot - my only recommendation would be to load a 5.0 OS.

Uh, yeah! (calling the Cimarron a Cadillac was wrong on sooooo many levels!)

You mean the Chevy Cavalier with the shiny grill?? Worst car ever...

I've always liked the form factor of the 8900, a definate step up. Personally, I'd take it over one of the 85xx series any day of the week.

No, the 85xx series is. But the 9300 (coming out soon) will be the newest. The 8900 has a better camera than both of them, though.

I hate to be the one to disagree. I love the 8300 series but if you're looking to upgrade, I would skip the 8900.

Well, if you are looking to upgrade to the best Curve, the 8900 is it in my opinion. It's better than the 85xx series personally despite not having the Trackpad and still rivals the 9300 despite the lack of 3G or 624Mhz processor

I would wait for a device that handles the new OS 6. 9800 or 9780.

Yeah, but the OP wants the best Curve model, not a Bold (or possibly Torch) model. Some people do prefer the keyboard for the Curve
