I have a problem, each time I put my Curve into my pocket it turns off and I cant turn it off. does it have some sort of sensor that puts this thing into sleep or what? I have to take out the battery and then it works. Any ideas?

That is not normal at all. Yes there is a sensor that put it in standby
that is incorporated into a lot of holsters and cases,
but it does not turn the phone off.

If the phone is still in the warranty period I would suggest having
it replaced.

Odd behavior unless your pocket happens to have a magnet embedded in the fabric :-)
