My trackball moves fine, but when I push it to "select" you hear the click but you have to push real hard to get it to activate. My BB is 7 months old and it worked perfectly until this morning. I took the trackball out and it is function fine. The problem appears to be with the circuit board underneath the trackball. Do I have to replace the entire board to fix this problem?

Try a hard reset to rule out programing issues, if its a circut board it could be programming, a hard reset could jar it

ifs its for of a physical problem, check your insurance

Hard reset did not work. I think it is a bad receptor on the circuit board. Anyone with suggestions for a DIY fix?

Have insurance but with a $50 deductible and a $250 cap so I would rather fix than pay about $100 out of pocket.
