I voted storm, the bold IMHO isn't as innovating. Don't get me wrong the bold is a great phone but the storm has something the bold will never have!
Ya the bold doesn't have crappy programming nor a bad reputatation

What surprises me is how little love there is for the Flip. IF I was gonna go Pearl (and there is no way I would) the PearlFlip would be my choice. I knew all along it would be a 2 horse race thou.

    Go Storm Go

PS I happen to really like the Bold too.

The storm was a launch on par with the Iphone.. only phone I have ever sat outside in the cold waiting for a phone (that I had been using for months) just to get a retail unit and share the excitement. Countless nights talking about beta software and screen locks and you have a device that is a LOVE/HATE lighting rod..

I voted 8900 (Curve, Javalin) and it was difficult to choose over the 9000 (Bold). To be honest I don't think it would make a difference because they both suck

8900 doesn't support G3. Then again, my old PDA does and I feel G3 does not make a noticeable difference to the kind of things I do with a handheld outside the home. WiFi rocks though.

The 8900 is lighter and might have a better camera, though the people who use and review these things don't have a clue about photography. I might take notice when they make a phone with a (mini) SLR bayonet, but then I would probably think its stupid

What would matter to me for web/email/doc is keyboard and scrolling performance. Compared to buttons, a scroll wheel is faster to use and more expensive to manufacture. Neither of them have this!!

The Storm didn't stand a chance because typing on a screen take too long.

Maybe you should design your own phone and get yourself a nice instrument designed to take a CAMERA. Phones aren't designed to be a camera then a phone, neither are they designed to appeal to just one market. Try to make better us of this forum than bashing some really good phones!

I think you just strengthened my point, and I'm quite happy with my Samsung GX thank you

History repeats itself and there is a valuable old saying. It goes; the jack of all trades is the master of none. Likewise, the problem is typically the downfall of all major companies that fall into the trap of not emphasising a primary market. You know, like woolworths, and I can think of many more examples

And so you also validated mine....why trash a phone that you are not using and you are happy with another? It's not constructive and let's us know how little you really know about the Crackberry world.

I'm so much trashing them, as high-lighting the reasons why I'm not able to choose one over the other. I mean, they are good and the differences are superficial.

For example, I'm not going to select one over the other because BlackBerry stuck a slightly less cheesy camera on it. I did my best to pick the one I liked the most for justified reasons.

They all look good though. Furthermore, academic reading suggests that things that look better are also easier to use, simply because humans are happier when using them

Wow, I can not believe how much love the storm is getting in this forum! I had mine for a month and finally gave it up for the Curve 8330. I voted for it because I actually use it and enjoy it 100 times more than the glitchy storm. Btw, I don't hate the storm and I didn't return it because I couldn't type... I actually really liked/loved a lot about it and in a year I will probably have it again but when it goes on the fritz when you are making a phone call then that's a problem. When the one thing your paid to do best, you can't do at all... time to be returned

It has to be the Storm.

It wasn't the smoothest launch, and its not the best made or best running BlackBerry. But it generated the most buzz and proved that RIM can do something other then keyboards.

I have to vote for the Storm also, probably because it's the first BB I've ever owned, but also because it's a good phone.
