Interesting concept for sure. The main issue would be the screen recording and voice capture. I'm sure there's an app which would do so but I haven't look for that type of one before. Would definitely give the service crediability in the CB fans' eyes.

Desktop version has built in recording. It can be easily recorded by the host as an mp4

Something just would look "right" about using it over Hangouts if it really is going to compete with it.

Maybe the Samsung rumors could ignite the first CB podcast using BBM Meeting instead of Google Hangouts.

Awesome to see the CB presence on the BerryFlow podcast. That's actually a cool podcast and they remind me of the early CB podcasts.

So true. Only thing keeping CB alive is the fan base on the forum. Def not the the new stickers pack posts on the news feed.

I used to enjoy the podcast of reviews and quarterly earnings, now they don't even bother making one. Don't blame anyone as I understand this is a business and resources should be spent where the company deems it will yield returns. Hope Kevin and the gang can come back outside business hrs to do a podcast as a fan again.

Seems like the issue would be that they wouldn't be able to "live" broadcast their BerryFlow-CrackBerry podcasts like they're able to now using Google Hangouts.

I'd say that it would be worth the effort to showcase what BlackBerry is promoting as a cross-platform collaboration solution. Let's see if it really works well for these kinds of long distance chats with some on Macs and others on PCs.

Using a smartphone isn't necessary since they just sit around their desks when filming lol.
