Decided to give CoPilot7 a try for a few days and see how it compares with my trusty Nav4All. Nicest thing about CoPilot7 is the colorful graphics. But I eventually found myself having to look too long at the screen at intersections. I often found some lag time for the program to figure out exactly where I was. Route recalculation took a lot longer.
But the biggest complaint to me is its lack of updated maps. There are changed intersections that have been around now for a couple years or more and CoPilot did not know that. However, Nav4All successfully navigated me through a complicated mall complex that opened up within the past year, even around the private "roundabouts"!!
So I've un-installed CoPilot (it is a 1.5 meg program). After deletion, I noticed that its various spoken directions were still installed as ringtones. I had to manually go through and delete them. They were apparently the "John" voice that I had chosen but the program never did correctly switch from the default female voice.
Anyway, that's my personal experience, for whatever it's worth! :)
